Petlas Tire Corp. has unveiled a new tire, the PtxND33, which is designed for compact and backhoe loaders.
“The key feature of a tire on a compact industrial vehicle is responding to the versatility of the operations that the operators have to handle.” says Oguz Ay, Petlas international sales and marketing director. “The tire has to overcome numerous obstacles that vary depending on the site conditions and the type of operations.”
The PtxND33 features deep and wide lugs that are carefully located on the tread ensure optimal traction. The tire’s wide tread profile “provides a balanced feel on every condition and increases the tire’s service life by demonstrating better wear behavior,” according to Petlas officials.
Other features include reinforced sidewalls and steel belts located underneath the tread.
The tire is currently available in size 460/70R24.
